Coombeshead Academy, formerly Coombeshead College is an academy in Newton Abbot, Devon, England. It has a specialism in maths and the arts. It educates 1,326 students as of January 2011.

The school's music facilities include a recording studio. In addition to its teaching purposes, Coombeshead Studios has also been used by local bands to record their songs. Rock band Muse have also recorded some early material here. It is also one of the few schools in Britain to have a radio station, newsroom and TV studio as part of an art media centre.

In the 2009/2010 school year, Coombeshead had record results with 52% of its students achieving 5 or more C or higher GCSE's including English and maths.[1]

The Bushell Theatre

In the 2011 Spring term Coombeshead Academy opend The Bushell to the community. The theatre is used for the school's expressive arts shows, music concerts, and drama productions.
